Abu Dhabi Golden Visa · Long-term (typically 10 years)
Golden — real-estate investor
You own property in Abu Dhabi. Covers spouse and children.
- Criteria
- Property purchased at a minimum total value of AED 2,000,000 outside a mortgage. National-bank mortgages are allowed if your equity is still at least AED 2,000,000. Off-plan: at least AED 2,000,000 already paid to an approved developer.

Abu Dhabi Golden Visa · Long-term (typically 10 years)
Golden — non-real-estate investor
You invest AED 2 million in a deposit or company, or prove AED 250,000 tax per year for two years. Covers spouse, children, one advisor and one executive director.

- AED 2 million in a deposit or company share; or tax of AED 250,000 per year for the two years before application (your share of company tax). Trade licence and CRC evidencing capital and ownership.

Abu Dhabi Golden Visa · Typically 5 years (federal table)
Golden — entrepreneur
You own a technical or future-oriented project with incubator or emirate-authority support.

- Federal guide: proof the project is innovative/technical; auditor letter that project value is at least AED 500,000; letter from a business incubator or the competent authority in the emirate.

Golden — brilliant talents
Creatives in arts and culture, inventors, doctors, executives, athletes and other rare specialisations.
- Criteria
- Each sub-track has its own proof: international awards or nominations (creatives), recommendation letters, practising licences, or accredited degrees. ADDED lists Brilliant Talents as a Golden category.

Abu Dhabi Golden Visa · Typically 10 years
Golden — specialists
Scientists and researchers, industry / 4IR specialists, health specialists, and skilled professionals.
- Criteria
- Scientists: Master’s/PhD in engineering, technology or life sciences, FWCI 1.0 and H-index 10+, or Scopus H-index > 20. Industry: bachelor’s in manufacturing/industrial engineering, ISCO level 1–2, 7 years’ technical experience. Health: DOH practising licence and endorsement. Skilled professionals: employed in the UAE, bachelor’s, monthly salary AED 30,000, practising licence if the job requires it.

Abu Dhabi Golden Visa · 5 years (school) / 10 years (university)
Golden — outstanding students
High-school high achievers and recent graduates of accredited A/B universities.
- Criteria
- UAE graduates: Bachelor/Master/PhD from an MoE-accredited A or B university; GPA at least 3.5 (A) or 3.8 (B); graduated within two years; degree attested. Outside the UAE (bachelor only): top-100 university, GPA 3.5+, within two years, equivalency. High school: typically ≥ 95% with a Ministry recommendation.

Golden — humanitarian pioneers & front line
Pioneers of human action and front-line workers recognised by the UAE.
- Criteria
- Federal table: certificates of appreciation, documented humanitarian contribution, or typically at least five years of front-line service.

Abu Dhabi Green Visa · 5 years
Green — investor or business partner
You hold a share in an ADRA / UAE commercial licence and want five-year self-sponsored residence.
- Criteria
- Green Residence covers the investor and the partner in a commercial licence under a partnership contract, at a participation percentage set by ICA. An ADRA economic licence is the usual first step in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Green Visa · 5 years
Green — freelancer
Independent professionals who already freelance, or will take an ADRA freelancer licence plus a MOHRE permit.
- Criteria
- MOHRE freelance / self-employment permit; bachelor’s degree, specialised diploma or equivalent; annual self-employment income of at least AED 360,000 for the previous two years — or proof of financial solvency for the residence period.

Green — skilled employee
Skilled professionals who qualify on their own instead of an employer kafeel.
- Criteria
- ADDED lists skilled employees under the five-year Green Visa. Federal Green Residence covers high-level skilled workers. Exact skill level, contract and salary rules are set by ICA / MOHRE and change — we confirm the current list before typing.

Abu Dhabi Non-Work Visa · 1 year
Remote work visa
Global professionals who work remotely from Abu Dhabi or elsewhere in the UAE.

- ADDED: a one-year visa allowing foreigners to enter under self-sponsorship and work in line with the visa conditions — without a local employment contract.

You fully own a habitable built property in the UAE (not vacant land).
- Criteria
- Property fully built, wholly owned, habitable. Ownership certificate from the competent real-estate registry. Monthly income of at least AED 10,000 or equivalent, or proof of solvency for the stay. This is not the AED 2 million Golden property track.

Shareholders who need residence after a Standard, Instant, Virtual or Dual licence.
- Criteria
- ADRA licence first (activity, legal form, trade name, location, MOA, initial approval, economic licence). Then MOHRE establishment card. Then ICA partner/investor residence. Virtual licence holders set up from abroad and convert after arrival.

Parent sponsorship
Bringing a father or mother onto your residence, subject to income rules.
- Criteria
- Sponsor’s valid residence and a higher salary / housing threshold than spouse-and-children files. Attested relationship proofs. ICA updates the income floor — we confirm before typing.

Short stay for tourism — not a path to residence or work.
- Criteria
- Passport validity and photographs. Some nationalities enter visa-free or visa-on-arrival; others need a pre-arranged tourist visa. Overstay fines are ICA’s.

Multiple-entry visit
Frequent visitors who qualify for a long-validity multiple-entry visa (typically 90 days per entry).

- Nationality and passport rules are set by ICA and change. Bank / travel proofs may be asked. This is not residence and does not allow UAE employment.
